Food & Nutrition

At Tiny Thinkers we encourage children to eat a healthy and nutritious diet and to support this we offer three meals a day: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner complemented with two small snack times.

 

Our chef prepares the meals on site and the menu involves dishes from different nationalities so we can reflect diversity through our food and also apart from considering a carefully balanced diet it also offers opportunities to educate our little ones about healthy eating and healthier choices.

 

This is one of our recipes: Pop Pop Cauliflower

Ingredients

3 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil

Juice of 1 lime

3 cloves of garlic, mashed

1 medium cauliflower (cut into florets)

Low sodium salt

Ground black pepper

1 tsp. chopped coriander

Steps

1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees celsius (reduce for fan assisted).

2. In a small bowl whisk together olive oil, lime juice and garlic.

​

3. On a large baking tray toss the cauliflower in the sauce until fully coated. Season with salt and pepper.

 

4. Spread cauliflower in an even layer and roast for 30 to 35 minutes until slightly charred and tender. 

​

5. Optional garnish or coriander and/or plain yoghurt dip.
